NEWBAUM'S CLOTH RIM TAPE

Rim tape (or rim strips) is used to create a protective barrier between your inner tube and the rim's drilled out spoke holes. An inflated inner tube that rubs against exposed sharp edges of a spoke hole is likely to flat. Newbaum's Rim Tape offers long-lasting protection for your wheels and inner tubes. It uses a stable adhesive that stays put on mountain bike wheels and road wheels using high-pressure tires.

DURABLE COTTON/SYNTHETIC WOVEN CLOTH TAPE WITH ADHESIVE BACK: This tape is more tear-resistant and easier to work with than common thin plastic rim tape. The edges are reinforced to prevent fraying.

LENGTH: Each roll is 6.6 ft (201cm) long, which should be enough to handle one 700c wheel. This rim tape will resist shifting better than cheap plastic rim tape and won't deteriorate as quickly as traditional rubber rim strips.

THREE AVAILABLE WIDTHS: The 17mm size is recommended for 700c racing wheels, while the 22mm size is better suited for wider 700c gravel and MTB wheels. There's also a 10mm option for specialty applications. Be sure to find out the internal width of your rim before purchasing.
